Credit Repair Letters

Welcome! You’re taking the first important step toward improving your credit health. Before we can begin the dispute process, we’ll need to gather some basic information about your current credit report. Please follow the steps below to request your reports from all three credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Once you’ve received them, simply let us know, and we’ll guide you through the next steps to review and prepare your personalized credit dispute letters.

1) Freeze your LexisNexis report

Pros of freezing LexisNexis

  •  Stronger protection against certain types of identity fraud, since many lenders and insurers cannot access your report without your permission.
  • Stops some unauthorized or surprise checks (for example, during car financing or other credit-related evaluations) unless you temporarily lift the freeze.
  • Usually free to place, lift, or remove the freeze, depending on state rules.
  • Cons of freezing LexisNexis

  •  Can delay or block approvals for insurance, loans, or services that rely on LexisNexis data (auto/home insurance quotes, some banking, some identity verification) until you lift the freeze.
  • Requires extra steps to temporarily lift or remove the freeze whenever you shop for new insurance, credit, or certain services.
  • Does not stop all data sharing, because certain “permissible purposes” under state and federal law can still allow some information to be returned.
